About Me

Welcome! I am a yoga and meditation teacher, physical therapist, beachcomber, avid reader and mom of two young adults.

My classes have been described as fun and nurturing and I am passionate about the healing benefits of a consistent yoga practice. I currently teach group classes, work with private clients, and offer specialty series and workshops focused on therapeutics, gentle movement, and meditation. I specialize in teaching yoga to those with injuries, balance deficits, or physical limitations.

My gentle, hands-on approach allows students to experience the healing benefits of yoga and my aim is to make the practice accessible to all. I encourage students to listen to their bodies and to work at their own pace. I use yoga as a self-healing tool to keep me grounded and to calm my busy mind in order to hear my own intuition and to stay focused on those things that are most important in my life.

I have a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Simmons College and have been a physical therapist for over 30 years. I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training at the Sanctuary Yoga Studio in Plymouth in 2013 and 300 hour advanced teacher training at Down Under School of Yoga in Boston in 2020. I am a certified meditation teacher and am also certified in Reiki level 2. I believe in an integrated approach to physical therapy and my passion for yoga is a wonderful complement to this. I love to share this practice with my students.

Thanks for visiting!
